About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Writer to support engineering and service teams by creating clear, accurate documentation for advanced thermal control equipment. This role combines writing, illustration, and collaboration with engineers to ensure users and technicians have the guidance they need.

What You’ll Do

• Write and maintain Operator’s Guides, Installation & Service Manuals, Quick-Start sheets, and safety instructions .
• Translate complex engineering details into clear, step-by-step procedures .
• Create and edit visuals (figures, diagrams, callouts) from CAD, photos, or SME input.
• Standardize terminology, warnings, and style across product lines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Service teams to capture changes and validate instructions.
• Manage revisions and maintain an organized document library.
• Support training and service with troubleshooting guides, maintenance schedules, and how-to content.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of technical writing experience for complex electro-mechanical or industrial products .
• Strong procedural and safety documentation skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, InDesign, or Confluence .
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical diagrams and work hands-on with equipment when needed.
• Nice to have: CAD-to-illustration tools (e.g., SolidWorks Composer), ISO 9001 experience, and multimedia/documentation skills.
