Job Description

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300). **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative DCS issues. + Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as customer contact for service-related issues/inquiries. + Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware, networks, and software including Experion PKS, LCN, and TPS. + Upgrade TPN and Experion software from one software release to another software release on the live control system without causing any interruption to the customer's industrial process. + Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell's new technology offering. + Develop the skills and talents of other engineers through guidance and on-the-job supervision. + Understand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations. + Assist Sales during sales pursuits. + Be the face of Honeywell to end-users, and competitors. + Learn end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions. + Use technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings to enhance customer experience. + Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication. + Publish reporting to customers including service reports and monthly performance reports. + Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customers and other Field Service Engineers. **YOU MUST HAVE** + 5+ years of related Field Service Engineering work experience. + Valid Driver's License + Ability to travel > 50% + Honeywell DCS and networks: Experion PKS hardware & software, in addition to TDC2/3000, **WE VALUE** + A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment. + Self-motivated, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, work independently and as part of a team. + Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, along with proven ability to interact professionally with peers and customers. + Project a positive attitude focused on meeting and exceeding Honeywell's and customer expectations. + Knowledge and skills with servers\PCs, IP Networking technologies (switch, router, firewall, etc). + Fundamental knowledge of 3rd Party technologies and software. + Project Management experience (budget control, schedules, resource allocation, reporting) + Previous technical Field Service and customer service experience + Good written and oral communication, and presentation skills **ABOUT HONEYWELL** Honeywell International Inc.
