Job Description

GCyber is hiring a VIP IT Support Specialist, to support our newly awarded United States Coats Guard (USCG) Maverick contract.

As the IT Support Specialist , you will:

• Possess strong technical skills in hardware/software, networking basics, and troubleshooting, paired with soft skills in communication, problem-solving, and customer service.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and adaptability to keep pace with evolving technology.
• Provide immediate IT support to the Admiral and his team under the eVIP Program, ensuring rapid restoration of operations.
• Resolve issues across computer hardware, software, and mobility devices (iPhone, iPad) in office environments.
• Handle unclassified systems directly and escalate classified system issues to the SIPR Helpdesk Lead as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years (or commensurate experience)
• 8570 IAT II certification (i.e., Security+, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GCSP, GSEC, SSCP)
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Ticketing System.  
• Knowledge of M365 applications
• Experience with Remote Tools: Virtual Private Network (VPN) and MANTA
