New Gig Solutions is proud to partner with a reputable and growing Tax Resolution firm that’s dedicated to helping individuals and businesses resolve complex tax issues with the IRS and state agencies. The firm is now hiring a full-time, onsite Tax Attorney who’s ready to make an immediate impact in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Position Overview
As a Tax Attorney , you’ll represent clients in tax controversy matters, negotiate with the IRS and state taxing authorities, and develop effective resolution strategies for a diverse caseload. This is a 100% onsite role , ideal for an attorney who values in-person collaboration and hands-on client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing agencies
Negotiate offers in compromise, installment agreements, and penalty abatements
Handle audits, appeals, levies, and liens
Provide legal advice regarding tax compliance and planning
Research and interpret complex federal and state tax laws
Draft correspondence, legal documents, and client communications
Collaborate with case managers, enrolled agents, and CPAs to achieve the best outcomes
Qualifications
Active Bar License in good standing (any state; preference for local licensing)
1–5+ years of experience in tax resolution, tax controversy, or related tax law
Strong knowledge of IRS collections, audits, and appeals processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work onsite full-time
