Summary Of Position
Under the direction and supervision of Director of Education and Promotion this position provides expertise in the development implementation coordination and evaluation of comprehensive sex education. This position is responsible for using a researched-based public health approach to design deliver and assess well-being and comprehensive sex education ( CSE ) programs to the UNH Durham community in accordance with the UNH Comprehensive Interpersonal Violence Prevention Plan . This position works closely with the organizations medical team wellness coaches health educators and campus partners. The Sexual Well-Being Educator/Counselor is a subject-matter expert on sexual health and sexual well-being and as such serves as a consultant to the UNH community through representation on campus committees and initiatives. Additionally this position is responsible for designing recruiting and managing the sexual health internship program. The role requires a strong skill set and knowledge in overall health and wellness expertise in sex education social justice public health cultural competency public speaking and group facilitation health communications and supervision.
