Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will lead surveying operations, oversee project workflows, and ensure that all survey activities meet regulatory and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage land surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys.
* Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey drawings for compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Utilize and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
* Manage field crews, providing guidance and ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites.
* Collaborate with engineers, developers, and clients to provide accurate survey data and resolve technical challenges.
* Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in survey technology.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in [State] or ability to obtain within [timeframe].
* 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with a strong understanding of survey principles and practices.
