Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Powder Coating technician to join a growing manufacturing team in North Tulsa . The Powder Coating position is responsible for preparing, applying, and inspecting powder-coated finishes on metal parts to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications. This role requires precision, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, blasting, or masking parts as required.
• Mix and apply powder coating materials using spray guns in a controlled environment.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, color consistency, and proper coating thickness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area , following all company safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and report mechanical issues.
• Track and record production data , including batch numbers, material usage, and completion times.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet schedule demands and quality standards.
Qualifications
• 1–2 years of powder coating experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control .
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge and capability to operate coating tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining safety and productivity.
