About the Role:

Direct support of MRO Supervisor to assist in inventory cycle counting and to correctly maintain accuracy of inventory level analysis.

Daily input of parts inventory to maintain accuracy of the current stock on hand. Applicant must oversee parts being issued/signed out to make sure all processes are followed correctly to reduce discrepancies.

Oversees that parts and services are checked in correctly while supporting maintenance activities of the plant equipment by verifying items ordered come in at a timely manner. Applicant mush have good communication with vendors to check up on orders or items that may not have arrived as originally quoted.

Applicant must be safety minded and follow all Safety and Food Safety guidelines as set forth

Main Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning - Inventory, reserving parts, using spare codes

Assets and Materials Management - managing issued parts and finding new locations, annual cycle counts, auditing stock, elimination of obsolete or non useful materials, data entry into SAP

Documentation Management - purchase orders and work orders

Continuous Improvment - Dectects areas for improvement for parts issuing, parts reservations, and parts to be received. Evaluates best methods of correcting orders, propose and cooperate in teh implementation of initiatives and supports processes.

 

About You:

High School Diploma or GED 

1 to 3 years experience 

Knowledge of machines and tools

Knowledge of shipping and receiving parts
