Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson delivery
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives
Prepare instructional materials and classroom displays
Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, and dismissal times as needed
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Assist with grading assignments, record-keeping, and other clerical duties
Support students with special needs or learning differences, following teacher and specialist guidance
Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
Uphold school policies and procedures at all times
Other duties as assigned
Educational/Experiential Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Passion for education and working with children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Preferred:
Associate's degree or higher in Education or a related field
Previous experience in a school or childcare setting
CPR/First Aid certification
