The Opportunity

As Head of People, North America , you’ll lead all aspects of the People function across our U.S. operations. You’ll be a trusted partner to senior leaders, guiding initiatives that elevate employee engagement, performance, and brand alignment. You’ll also manage a talented team including a People Partner, People Advisor, and Payroll, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic People Leadership

  • Align People initiatives with brand and group strategy
  • Collaborate with GMs and People Group Heads to preserve brand integrity
  • Contribute to Group-wide People strategies

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide expert advice on complex ER matters
  • Ensure compliance with workplace laws and policies
  • Mentor and support People team members

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Lead engagement and D&I surveys and action planning
  • Continuously improve employee experience and benefits offerings

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Recruit key roles across Support Centre and Retail
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes

Organisational Development & Performance

  • Champion development programs and succession planning
  • Support performance improvement processes

Annual People Processes

  • Drive performance reviews, salary planning, talent mapping, and wellbeing initiatives

Environmental Governance & Sustainability (ESG)

  • Promote health, safety, and wellbeing
  • Ensure BCorp HR compliance

What You’ll Bring

Qualification in Human Resources or related field

Proven experience in HR leadership, preferably in a generalist capacity

Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR compliance

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

Ability to lead through change, manage competing priorities, and foster collaboration

Experience with benefits setup and provider negotiations

Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms
