Location: Remote, US

Job Overview:
The Content Specialist III will be responsible for writing, reviewing, editing, and evaluating content on client's platforms. This role requires excellent editorial judgment, expert writing and editing skills, and the ability to improve model training and prompting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism, digital content strategy, and AI tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality, actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Write, edit, and review content for client platforms, including creative copy and AI model prompting.
  • Perform analysis and produce reports with compelling, actionable insights for partners.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to interpret and implement guidelines, adapting reasoning to novel or ambiguous scenarios.
  • Review content at scale, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Annotate and evaluate qualitative data related to the conversationality of AI models.
  • Assess conversational quality issues in models and apply them through various prompting practices.
  • Write and test system prompts using clear, compelling, and natural language to steer model performance.
  • Collaborate with content and product teams to improve user experience.
  • Work an extended schedule as required, including weekends.
Qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience in journalism, digital content strategy, production, or related fields.
  • Deep experience in prompt engineering, annotation, and using AI tools.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and impeccable editorial judgment on nuanced topics such as politics, bias, gender, and religion.
  • Familiarity with AP Style.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet applications like Google Sheets, MS Excel, or other data analytics tools.
  • Ability to perform and support basic data analysis and visualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape.
  • Storytelling experience.
  • Editorial experience in creating and publishing multimedia content across various formats, including text, audio, and video.
  • Background in visual content creation, such as photo editing, video production, or creative writing.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Pay Range: $40 - $50

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
