Job Summary: We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable
Claims Adjuster to join our team. In this role, you will examine property damage and physical injuries, process claim reports, and negotiate payments. You will interview relevant parties and gather information to assist you in the claims process. The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong analytical and writing skills.
Responsibilities - Inspect the property for damage
- Interview claimants and witnesses
- Gather information from a variety of sources, including police reports and surveillance cameras
- Write claim reports
- Consult with other professionals
- Negotiate settlements
Qualifications - High school diploma/GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience as a claims adjuster is preferred
- Experience using industry-specific software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience writing detailed reports
